We are excited to announce that early bird registration is now open for the 2023-2024 SCIHL Division 1 and Division 3! As always, the SCIHL offers non-contact, competitive, and enjoyable ice hockey experiences. Division 1 games will take place at DB Ice Rink, while Division 3 games will be held at Mega Ice.

Early bird registration for SCIHL players will be available until August 1. By registering early, you can take advantage of our special promotion, which includes a HK$500 voucher for Warrior equipment at the CHG Hockey Shop, along with 1 free skate sharpening. This voucher and the skate sharpening offer are valid until April 1, 2024.

Please note that registration for all divisions is on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your spot, payment must be made and acceptance confirmed.

Division 1 - Thursdays @ DB Ice Rink in Discovery Bay

SCIHL Division 1 is the premier division for non-contact ice hockey in Hong Kong. For the upcoming season, all Division 1 games will take place on Thursday nights at the DB Ice Rink, conveniently located in Discovery Bay.

Division 1 offers highly competitive and enjoyable non-contact hockey, specifically designed for experienced players seeking a fantastic social environment to play in.
Here are the key highlights of Division 1:

• Non-contact format with 5 players on each team
• Games scheduled on Thursday nights at 8:15 pm and 9:15 pm
• Four teams, with a maximum of 15 players and 1 goalie per team
• One team, RBC LIONS, will be composed of U20 players and select CIHL players (not part of the draft)
• The remaining three team rosters will be determined through a full draft
• The season includes 20 league games, including playoffs
• Each game consists of three 15-minute periods with running time, followed by overtime and a shootout if necessary
• The SCIHL website (www.SCIHL.com) provides access to comprehensive game stats and summaries
• Dedicated iOS and Android apps (SCIHL) are available for easy access to league information
• Players have the opportunity to participate in regional tournaments
• The early bird registration fee for Division 1 is HK$7,888
• After August 1, the registration fee will be HK$8,888

• Draft: To be announced, expected to be held on the first weekend of September
• Opening night: Thursday, October 5

Registration Details:

• Early bird registration for SCIHL players is currently open and will continue until August 1. As part of the early bird promotion, you will receive a HK$500 voucher for Warrior equipment at the CHG Hockey Shop and 1 free skate sharpening. Both the voucher and skate sharpening offer are valid until April 2024.
• Please note that registration must be completed online. Ensure that you fill out the registration form and submit payment accordingly. It's important to note that the minimum age requirement is 16 years, unless approved by the organizers.

• The management of equipment lockers will be handled by the DB Ice Rink. If you are interested in renting a locker for the 2023-2024 season (September - March), please contact the rink directly.

Division 3 - Thursdays @ MegaBox in Kowloon Bay

SCIHL Division 3 is designed for players seeking an enjoyable and developmental hockey experience within a well-organized and professionally managed league. All Division 3 games will be held at Mega Ice, located in the MegaBox shopping mall in Kowloon Bay.

Here are the key highlights of Division 3:

• Non-contact format with 5 players on each team
• Games scheduled on Thursday nights at 8:30 pm, 9:30 pm, and 10:30 pm
• 4-6 teams, with a maximum of 15 players and 1 goalie per team
• Team rosters will be determined through a full draft
• The season includes 17 league games, including playoffs
• Each game consists of three 15-minute periods with running time, followed by overtime and a shootout if necessary
• The SCIHL website (www.SCIHL.com) provides access to comprehensive game stats and summaries
• Dedicated iOS and Android apps (SCIHL) are available for easy access to league information
• Players have the opportunity to participate in regional tournaments
