SCIHL 2022-2023 PLAYER REGISTRATION

Early bird registration for the 2022-2023 SCIHL Division 1 & Division 3 is now open! All SCIHL divisions will continue to feature non-contact, competitive and fun ice hockey. Games will be played at two different rinks: Division 1 at DB Ice Rink and Division 3 at Mega Ice.

Early bird registration for the SCIHL players is now open through August 1. The early bird promotion includes a HK$500 for Warrior equipment at the CHG Hockey Shop and 1 free skate sharpening. The voucher and skate sharpening are valid until April 2023.

For all divisions, registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. A spot must be paid for and accepted to be confirmed.

Division 1 - Thursdays @ DB Ice Rink in Discovery Bay

SCIHL Division 1 is Hong Kong’s top division for non-contact ice hockey. This season, all games will be played at the new DB Ice Rink located in Discovery Bay.

This is highly competitive and fun non-contact hockey targeted at experienced players who are looking to play ice hockey in a great social environment.

Division 1 highlights:

Non-contact – 5 on 5
Thursday night games at 8:30 and 9:45 pm
4 teams, each with a maximum 15 players and 1 goalie
1 team will consist of U20 players + select CIHL players (not part of the draft)
Full draft for the remaining 3 team rosters
Schedule includes 17 league games (including playoffs)
- 13 games are played on Thursday evenings
- 4 feature community games are played on Saturday nights including the finals
3 x 20 minute periods (running time) plus overtime and a shootout if needed

Please note that the equipment lockers this year will be managed by the DB Ice Rink. Players interested in renting a locker for the 2022-2023 season (Sept - Mar) need to CONTACT THE RINK DIRECTLY.

SCIHL Division 3 ice hockey is targeted at players who are looking to have fun and improve their hockey experience in a well-organized and managed league. All games will be played at Mega Ice in the MegaBox shopping mall in Kowloon Bay.

Division 3 highlights:

Non-contact – 5 on 5
Thursday night games at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 pm
6 teams, each with a maximum of 15 players and 1 goalie
Full draft of team rosters
Schedule includes 17 league games (including playoffs)
Three periods of 15 mins running time with overtime and shootout if tied

球員必須穿上整套冰球裝備。裝備必須符合 SCIHL 認可標準
Players should wear full hockey equipment according to the SCIHL equipment standards.
球員應在球賽開始前三十分鐘到達溜冰場。
Players are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to event for preparation.
當黑色暴雨警告或颱風訊號(八號或以上)懸掛時，活動將會除消; 一切改期事宜將另行通知。球員如對活動時間有任何疑問。
Games will be cancelled when black rainstorm or typhoon signal no.8 or above is hoisted. Subsequent arrangements will be notified for the reschedule date(s).
