The South China Ice Hockey League - Announcement

The 2020-2021 SCIHL season returns for the 5th year at The Rink in the Elements shopping mall. The league is supported by the China Hockey Group (CHG).

All games will be played at The Rink in the Elements shopping mall in Tsim Sha Tsui. The SCIHL has proven to be extremely fun, competitive and exciting.

Some highlights for the upcoming season include -

  • Non-contact – 4 on 4
  • Sunday Nights
  • Game times will be 7:00pm, 8:00pm and 9:00pm
  • 6 Teams at a maximum of 12 players and 1 goalie
  • Minimum 15 games (12 regular and 3-4 Playoff Games)
  • Three periods of 15 mins running time with overtime and shootout if tied

  • Opportunity to play in regional tournaments
  • Free beer

Priority registration for returning players from now until July 15th. Registration will open to the general public on July 16th. Please complete the required information below and submit payment of HK$6,888 (online only). Minimum age requirement is 16 unless approved by the organizers. The date for the Draft will be announced later but is expected to be on the first weekend of September. The first regular season game will be played on Sunday, October 18th.

N.B – Once priority registration for returning players is complete by July 15th, registration will be on a first come first served basis. Registration will close once all available spots are paid and accepted.
