Sammy Wong vs Sammy Wong
Sammy Wong, who played as a U18 player last season made a cameo appearance in the SCIHL and led the RBC Lions to an 8-5 win over Sapporo. The younger Sammy Wong scored a pair of goals and added an assist against the veteran Sammy Wong, who was in goal for Sapporo.
Sapporo had leads of 2-0 and 4-1 in the game but the young legs of the Lions outlasted them. Also making a cameo appearance was Owen Kwok and he also scored a pair of goals for the Lions.
The Lions managed to tie the game up a 4 before the second period ended and took over the third period with 4 unanswered goals. Jeff Griffin did get one back for Sapporo at the end to cap off a 4-point night.
