RBC Lions Crush the Sam Wai Raptors 9-3
It was no contest as the RBC Lions roared past the Sam Wai Raptors 9-3. Julian Ikeda-Thew had 6 points while Craig Gouk (LPP) had another solid performance between the pipes stopping 30.
The Lions led 4-1 after the first and 6-1 after the second period. They had full control of the game and when the Raptors had a chance, Gouk was there to stop them.
In the third period, the Raptors tried to make a game of it was the Lions were too strong on this night.
Raptors goalie Kevin Rushton stopped 22 in a losing cause.
